Do’s: Rinse in warm water if you must, then
dry with cotton or silk material. At most dealers, you can buy Swarovski gloves
(Made of a special cotton). They fit well and are extremely flexible. You can also buy a Swarovski Cleaning kit, which has the gloves and a brush, which is great on those
hard-to-reach places. It is important to note that the gloves should be cleaned
periodically depending on the frequency of use.
· Using a small
amount of glass cleaner or vinegar works very well too!
· I
discovered this a while back and it’s excellent for cleaning any crystal, prism, or jewelry too. Fill a clean bottle with car windshield fluid. Place
the piece(s) you want cleaned onto a layer of paper towels, spray it down really well, then let it drip dry. That’s It !!! Sparkling clean with no damage,
slipping, or handling!!! The reason is windshield fluid has a drying agent that
evaporates the cleaning solution quickly. It also is a stronger
cleaner than any household window ones. If any dust or particles remain, I use
a small hairdryer on the “cool” setting.
· Don’t’s: It is best that you should not wash or soak crystal. And NEVER put them in you dishwasher! It’ll most likely
fall through damaging your machine and the crystal.
Not good.
· Never
clean your crystals or prisms with any abrasive cleaner, powder,
or homemade potion!
· Never
clean, polish, buff, or wipe your crystals or prisms with any material that could leave scratches or marks!
